Smudge D (Biography):

Michael Smejkal, better known as Smudge D. He’s the founder of Higher Power Ent. Music Ministry a notable platform for Christian hip-hop artists.

 

Background:

Smudge D grew up in Chicago, raised amid poverty, gangs ,addiction, and instability. He struggled with substance abuse and near-death experiences until a radical encounter with Christ transformed his life.

Ministry:

After meeting his wife and relocating to Colorado, he was set on fire by the Holy Spirit and leaned fully into ministry. Smudge D describes his work as bringing together artists, creatives, and ministers to lift the name of Jesus and snatch souls from darkness. He’s a testimony that no pit is too deep for God to save someone from.

• Christian hip-hop artist: He releases music like his studio project “Goodness Of God” featuring Nigerian artist Lizzykin with a heartfelt mission to reach the hopeless.
